Gospel from Lagos. Hausa news from Kano. Afrobeats through the night. Every station on this page streams free, straight from your browser, on a phone or a laptop, from Abuja to Atlanta to Aachen. No subscription, no download, no account.
Listen now — all stationsThere is a particular thing that happens when you are a long way from home and you hear your own language coming out of a speaker. The adverts you half remember. A presenter arguing about football. The call to prayer, or a Sunday service, at the hour it actually happens rather than the hour that suits your time zone.
That is what this site is for. Nigerians abroad make up one of the largest diaspora communities in the world, and radio is the cheapest, most immediate connection back — older than the internet, and still better at carrying a place than anything with a scroll bar.
Six thousand kilometres away, at four in the morning, a Kano station is still broadcasting. That is the entire point.
Every station below streams live. Click through, press play, done. Stations are grouped so you can find what you are actually in the mood for.
More stations are being added. Nigeria has hundreds of licensed stations and we are working through them steadily. If a station you listen to is missing, tell us — and if you run one, see below.
This site is part of a wider West African heritage and tourism network, so once you have the radio playing there is a good deal more here worth your time.
Our dedicated tourism and discovery site. National parks, festivals, cities, heritage sites, and the practical guidance nobody else publishes straight.
Visa on arrival was abolished in May 2025. Half the internet still says otherwise. Here is what you actually need before you board.
The food, region by region — Yoruba, Igbo, Niger Delta, Middle Belt and Hausa-Fulani cooking, each with its own page.
The country behind the broadcasts.
Beyond Nigeria — radio from across Africa and the wider world.
Lagos and Abuja transfers, city tours, and guided cultural experiences, bookable in advance with free cancellation up to 24 hours before most activities. Worth arranging before you travel — an accommodation booking is one of the documents the e-Visa application asks for.
Bookings through this widget earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. We have no arrangement with any individual operator and no operator has paid to appear on this page.
We list stations free. No fee, no commission, no exclusivity — send us your stream and we add you, with a permanent page and a link back to your own site. Independent and community stations are especially welcome.
Updated: 23 August 2026.
All streams are provided by the broadcasters themselves and are listed free of charge. We host no audio and charge no fees to stations or listeners. Streams occasionally go offline for maintenance or licensing reasons and this is outside our control — if a station will not play, please tell us so we can check it. Station descriptions are compiled from broadcasters’ own published information. nigerianradio.com is part of the West African heritage and tourism network operated from Ghana since December 2000.
